14:10.11plarsenWell - live and learn.  I just realized that calendar updates can be deligated!
14:10.21plarsen(spell check not included!)
14:10.43plarsenstickster and jsmith, if you don't mind I'm going to add you both to the manage list for the fredlug calendar?
14:13.29sticksterplarsen: Perfectly fine by me
14:14.00plarsenHas that feature always been there?
14:14.07plarsenCannot believe I didn't see it until this morning
14:14.26jsmithI've seen it before -- not sure when it started
14:14.42plarsenWell, it's been deligated :)
14:14.53plarsenYou guys can manage the calendar AND the shares
14:15.05plarsen(not sure if it works, but your gmail emails were added)
14:18.54plarsenBtw. I had a "fun" little experience with MBR partitions this weekend. For my bday I got 3 2TB slow SATA disks that I promptly put into my new desktop to be used in a raid5 for long term storage and to move my windows games over to. So it needed to run windows so I can free up my work laptop of games etc.
14:19.22plarsenWell - to my surprise MBR (fdisk) would only allow 2TB partitions. Should have known that I know - but I admit I didn't.
14:19.58plarsenI tried UUID partitions (GPT) and while Windows would SEE it, it would not boot on it and technotes from MS confirmed that it was not supposed to.
14:20.25plarsenHow in the world does windows exist on SANs with THAT limitation?
14:21.30plarsenOhhh and the fun was even more so when you try to install Windows. Unless the disk you choose is the bios boot disk, the Windows installer will fail with a non-descript failure -- hehe. Had to go look at windows installer logfiles to see that it didn't recognize it as a boot disk and hence refused to install the OS there.
14:21.47plarsenSo I ended up splitting up my raid so Windows would fit on one volume and the other part would be for Fedora
14:22.25plarsenAnd I'm using the bios boot menu to switch between them. Not sure I'm brave enough to add the windows volume to grub and move the boot order. I'm sure windows will get confused.
14:23.30plarsenI had a lot of fun trying to remove the GPT partition from the windows installer. Read - it's impossible!
14:23.50plarsennot even window's partedit would do it.
