00:56.07aseigostoned: the system guard applet is a bit odd in that to get it to show network (or things other than cpu) you need to open ksysguard and drag the sensor from the sensor browser list to the applet

01:01.14JesterGot a weird problem.. I'm using kde 3.5.5 and twinview (with xinerama support in applications). When I create a new panel on my main screen (the right one), all the icons get moved to the left screen, and it's impossible to move them back nor create icons on other screens until I restart X (they appear on the left screen with the new panel). Any idea ? :/
01:01.35aseigostranger: it won't work very easily in kde3 where each konsole instance is a separate app...

01:02.32knappWhat channel do I need to be in for help w/ ipod, video, thinliquidfilm, ffmpeg, etc....
01:02.32aseigostranger: so it would be possible to detach a tab from one konsole and then try and attach it to another which obviously can't work =)
01:02.51aseigostranger: iow it would easily lead to odd behaviour from the user's perspective; i think in kde4, though, it's a viable possibility
01:03.26strangeraseigo: well, for a person who is used to a lot of adobe products that liberally use the "tearable" menus, i personally don't find it very strange.
01:04.02aseigostranger: one could still run into the same problem on kde4, but it would be far less likely and be limited to things like running konsoles as different users, running konsoles from different machines remotely, etc

03:02.17StarScreamwhich bug is this ?
03:02.35swanflhttp://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148043
03:02.42StarScreami am just going on the ones i've been meaning to fix.No idea if they actually have been reported yet or not
03:03.08swanflI noticed webcam doesn't always work
03:03.09StarScreamoh , its when people request authorization
03:03.15StarScreamor vice  versa
03:03.16swanflsame with file trransfers
03:03.22StarScreamthat is another thing that doesn't work
03:03.32swanflI can transfer files, but can't receive
03:03.36swanflat least in yahoo
03:03.45StarScreamheh...yeh its all broken
03:03.51StarScreambut it integrates nicely
03:03.56StarScreamso i continue to use it
03:03.59swanflthat it do
03:04.15StarScreamone day i'll fix the bugs or someone else will
03:04.24StarScreami'm just optimistic
03:04.29StarScreambut its pretty hard
03:04.38StarScreamwithout knowledge of the protocols
03:04.51StarScreamand protocols aren't terribly interesting
03:04.53swanflconfusing this is, when I look at the user's yahoo profile, Konq wants top open an swf file as if flash is not ionstalled, but it is
03:05.35swanflinstalled*
03:06.34StarScreamyeh its because the swf isn't embedded

03:07.29swanflcorect
03:07.44swanflI look at the person's yahoo profile page
03:08.27StarScreamswanfl: dunno. do other flash things work anywhere else ?

03:08.57swanflwill do
03:09.01swanfltomorrow
03:09.04swanflbbt
03:09.06StarScreamif something works, then its prolly just their flash detect script
03:09.15swanflgood point
03:09.15StarScreamwhich is common
03:09.21StarScreamas people are retarded
03:09.35StarScreamand only look for FF and IE
