00:26.31AluminSorry for the silly question, but I can't seem to find this specific nugget of information anywhere on the tubes; I'm about to make the jump from Gutsy (KDE 3.x) to Jaunty (KDE 4.x) and there's one very specific feature I'm curious about...I guess this would be a KWin feature

00:26.59Aluminis it possible to configure the window manager such that scrolling the mouse wheel on the window decoration cycles through levels of transparency?
00:27.47Aluminif it matters, I'm specifically interested in "real" transparency, not pseudo "show the root window image" transparency
00:28.40pinotreeit should be doable with desktop effects active (that enable transparency and the like), and a combination like Alt+wheelscroll
00:29.04pinotreedon't remember precisely though, and not be able to verify live right now
00:29.12Jucatoactually that's the default if desktop effects are enabled
00:29.21Jucato(scroll on titlebar to change opacity)
00:29.23Aluminword :)
00:30.11AluminI know I'm like, how many years late with this upgrade hehe
00:30.13Jucatoif not, it can be set in System Settings -> Window Behavior -> Titlebar Actions tab -> Titlebar wheel event
00:30.31AluminI have friends who don't even use KDE that are starting to give me grief about still being on 3.x  :)

13:12.19jarohi there. I'm quite satisfied with konsole (kde3.5, ubuntu) however I'd like to know if it is somehow possible to bind custom shortcuts to specific profiles. Like if I press alt+1 i'll get "white on black" whereas pressing alt+2 will switch the current tab to "black on white" or something like that. I thing that would be especially cool as it is sometimes quite useful to change color profile (I do it often due to varying light conditions)
13:12.57jaroIt seems to me that this is not possible "out of the box" but maybe there is some trick or hack that can do.
