At the moment, I'm simply calling "KIO::TransferJob *test_job = KIO::get( KUrl( "http://sp3.fotolog.com/photo/3/63/23/los__rstes/1231014031891_f.jpg" ) );" as a test, and the transfer dialog shows in the System Tray but it never progresses.
