Is there any way to postpone (I hope, i picked right word) strigi database initialisation for some time after kde start? 23:20.56murchadhHello all. Have KDE 4.5.1 (kubuntu but may have been LinuxMint). Can the sizes of the screen edge and corner buttons be configured somewhere? 10mm above the corner and I get the edge action.
23:22.12loadedwithwyrmsmurchadh: what do you mean by screen edge"? do you mean snap zone?
23:23.57murchadhloadedwithwyrms: Active Screen Edge Actions - run the mouse to the screen edge to activate something - I use left edge show windows this desk, right edge show windows all desktops, etc.

23:29.34junkDawgiei use the corner function to prevent the screensaver and it must be 2pixels

23:33.01murchadhjunkDawgie: I like "ludicrously" and "2 pixels". That's how that corner makes me feel sometime. My only niggle to iron out since I got tooltips to stop making firefox blink and the activities to stop duplicating themselves every plasma-desktop restart.

23:40.36murchadhIt's not a big problem, but I'll outline it as well as I can. There are 8 areas around the screen that act as buttons. The four screen edges and the four corners. I only use the left and right edges, and the two bottom corners; Left screen edge - show apps this desktop, Right Screen edge - show apps all desktops, Bottom Left corner - Show desktop and Bottom Right corner - show all desktops (I have 4). It all works perfectly except that the corner bits are
23:40.38murchadhtiny - a couple of pixels whereas the side button (we'll say button anyway) is all the edge minus the 3 pixels top and bottom assigned to Corners. Whew...
