00:04.15heviartiumm... Ok, i'm already downloading, what I need to do is add trackers..
00:04.52heviartiand I need to find out what the significance of the numbers in parentheses in the seeders leechers dialog is
00:09.58dyrverethe numbers in the parenthes means how many possible could be uploading and downloading to/from you the numbers next to it means how many actually are.
00:10.51dyrvereAnd adding trackers you do under "Trackers" on the bottom on the download tab. Click the torrent of choice you wanna add to and "Add trackers"

00:21.19dyrverehere's the result. http://www.miksoft.net/mobileMediaConverterDown.htm
00:25.02omidodyrvere thankyou  . i maybe a newbie but i know what is google and how to use it . i was looking for a free and opensource software and i wanted it to be QT to use on my KDE desktop. that's why i asked here . btw thanks a log for googling that for me :)
00:25.39dyrvereyeah, it may not be QT/KDE but it's one of the best :)
00:27.05dyrverehttp://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Kde+media+converter?content=53555 you also have the software on kde-apps as well
00:27.13omidoi wanted to install it on opensuse. it seems that the website dosnt have an RPM or a Tarball option.what should i do then?
00:28.20dyrverehm, you got me, I'm not familiar with OpenSUSE :/
00:28.58omidoso for you. linux is only means ubuntu. right?
00:29.15dyrvereNah, it means Arch Linux actually :)
00:29.43dyrverebut ask on opensuse, don't they have a chat on freenode?
00:29.52dyrvere#opensuse
00:30.56omidodyrvere i like the way arch users talk to others.
00:31.04omidothanks a lot. have a good time ;)

03:14.02ugganyone else finding kmail2 a disaster?  It cannot seem to migrate, access or import my kmail2 maildir.  Migrate adds the folders but you cannot access emails (no counts are shown).  skipping migrate and adding my mail resources manually (a pita) let me see my current emails (after a migrate kmail2 laggy to the point of being hung).  Adding a kmail maildir resource gives the same results as a migrate (including laggy/hangs when access the kmail1 maildir).  Now
03:14.02uggI am trying to import
03:14.21*** join/#kde MetaMucil (MetaMucil@CPE-72-131-7-230.wi.res.rr.com)
03:15.52uggand the import is leaking memory like a sieve.  Its about 8% done and is using 3G of memory - its going to be 12-16G into swap to complete at this rate.
03:17.38*** join/#kde Systemlord (~sLord@2001:4ba0:fff3:16f::2)
03:17.57ugg(1) why does adding a maildir not work?  (2) why is kmailcvt still leaking - looks like the problem was reported 6 months ago.  (3) looks like kmailcvt is getting some bogus emails (none of mine were 93M in kmail1, what is happening?
03:18.42ugg(4) why does akonadi need to be writing at 40M/s when all the IO on the system reads at an average of 300-400K/s?
03:20.02uggto get this far I had to reset akonadi and convert to mysql from sqlite, reset nepomuk, reset virtueso, reset kmail2 & kmail-migrate.
03:20.22uggAll of this is NOT something I should have to even think about doing as a user
03:21.11uggthis makes me think that kmail2 as shipped with 4.7.0 is far from ready for users.
03:22.19uggeven not ready for advanced users - I've been using linux & kde since 1999 - this is making me consider other desktop managers (first time in 13 years)
03:25.56uggwell I can answer (4) now.  Looks like it took akonadi over an hour to realize the maildir folder is no longer used in kmail...  to me this is bug

21:34.52multiheadQuestion: in Dolphin, I seem to need to click 'Preview' to get previews on each folder manually. Is there any way to tell Dolphin to automatically *always* show previews?
21:35.02multiheadKDE 4.7, by the way.

21:36.28dyrveremultihead: Well you could enter all the directories you need previews on and set it to that and it will save. Seriously who needs preview in all directories?
21:37.37MaximLevitskykde's display config tool stoped working for me :-(
21:37.37multiheadWindows and OSX do this, and it's rather pleasant to have it occur on-demand as you visit directories. Can Dolphin not do this?
21:37.39dyrvereor you could set it in dolphin settings. Share settings through all etc etc. Seriously!
21:37.49dyrvereMaximLevitsky: The Krandr?
21:37.58MaximLevitskyno matter what I do it gives me 1024x768 cloned display
21:38.18dyrvereMaximLevitsky: What drivers are you using?
21:38.29dyrverebtw, just a user :)
21:38.30MaximLevitskynouveau
21:38.36MaximLevitskythis works:
21:38.37MaximLevitskyxrandr --output DVI-I-1 --auto --output LVDS-1 --auto  --right-of DVI-I-1
21:38.39multiheaddyrvere: I don't see such an option in settings for Dolphin.
21:39.02dyrveremultihead: Look near the bottom.

21:40.35multiheadGot it. Under "View Properties" of "General". "Use common view properties for all folders".
21:40.36dyrveregeneral
21:40.38multiheaddyrvere: Thank you very much.
21:40.57dyrveremultihead: No problem, you found it on your own mostly :)
21:41.42dyrvereso view properties general. good to know
21:42.02dyrverenow how about SOCKS proxy, did it really make it for KDE 4.7?

21:47.38multiheadI'll toss out one more question: is the cashew removeable as of 4.7? (Without using a plasmoid like "iHateYouCashew".)
21:49.03dyrveremultihead: Cashew? the little dot in the corner?

21:56.28dyrverehttp://hanschen.org/2008/10/23/plasma-how-to-remove-the-cashew/ does this work?
21:59.28multiheaddyrvere: I was hoping to avoid an external plasmoid.
21:59.44multiheaddyrvere: It's an annoyance. Not a major one, but it seems like something that should be customizable.
21:59.54multiheadI'll fiddle with it. Thanks!
22:00.09dyrveremultihead: No idea, but let's hope KDE 4.8 leaves you with an option.
