17:08.47 | johnny69 | Hi kde folks. Got a somewhat of an unusual question here It's kinda sorta related to Kde since that is what I am using and therein i *think* is where the problem lies. Have a process running...In this case it's GCC compiling something. It maxes out the cpu completely. So I change the priority to as low as it will go and even set the file read/write priority to "idle". I still end up with a 100% cpu load that normally would be hove |
17:08.47 | johnny69 | or 2%. What else can I do? Any ideas? (Kde 4.7.x) Thank you. |

23:05.59 | patk | I'd like to drag-&-drop my photos into order for slideshows in KDE. I do it all the time in Picasa online, and in iPhoto on the Mac. In Gwenview, I can't see how to do it at all. ~ 3+ years ago, a KDE Wishlist item requestor the feature was told 'NO', and that a Kipi plugin is the righ approach (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151482). I don't see it in current Kipi. |
23:06.11 | patk | Is there a way to do this in Gwenview, or another KDE app that has it? |
