22:04.43leszekeristisk: if krunner isn't even starting you need to manually somehow edit the config file and I would try disabling them all and then enabling one by one to see which one uses akonadi. I guess the contacts, mail and calendar stuff uses akonadi. But these are only the obvious choices. Some others might use it too

22:41.13IkeKrullpandark: theres no point complaining.. file indexing by default is seen as core kde functionality by kde devs. if you don't like it, find a method to disable it on the internet (theres symlinking indexer/cleaner binaries to /bin/true, an undocumented config file disable method, and the official method which is adding your home directory to the 'ignore these folders' list - or patch it out yourself and rebuild kde, or find another desktop
