13:03.40SylvieLorxuDoes anyone know how KDE does translations? I just booted up Kubuntu 15.10 from a live USB and a fair bit of the Dutch translations are clearly copied straight from Google Translate. They're just horribly broken and incorrect. "Internet accounts" is translated to something which roughly means "Online banking", for example
13:07.01hyper_chBluesKaj: kdialog doesn't show up in the list
13:13.04cb400fSylvieLorxu: http://l10n.kde.org/team-infos.php?teamcode=nl

16:15.59ejayHi all. My double screen setup is not working as intended. When I plug in second screen every window will move to that second screen. Also every new window I will open will go to second screen. I did set my primary screen to my laptop screen, set so windows should open under mouse pointer, set kwin rules to force windows to open on primary screen but nothing of those helps. It's even more retarded when I unplug my secondary screen - every window will
16:16.00ejayopen on secondary but that secondary is absent so I can't even move it back to my primary screen (I need to reboot). I'm on plasma 5.4 but it never worked as it should. My gfx card is intel hd 4k, open source drivers, everything up to date. Any ideas? I've made shortcut to move active window to primary and this one works what is super confusing because kwin rule with forcing to open on primary do not work.
16:16.06ejayOh, and another funny behaviour - applications made in java are shown in middle of both screens so one half is on primary and second one is on secondary.
16:16.06amphibiousIt's just that the environment variables it sets aren't preserved
16:16.33amphibiousIf I source that file, and run e.g. firefox from that same terminal, my compose key will work correctly
16:16.51amphibiousIf I just run firefox from the KDE launcher, it doesn't.

20:12.50TaokiSo I upgraded to Framework 5 a few days ago... been using KDE4 for over 3 years until then. My overall thoughts that I wanted to share is that I like the general changes, in Plasma 5 and other components! I can tell that a lot more attention to detail was given, and the overall solidity and improvements are visible.
20:13.31TaokiIt can be little things too... like settings properly being stored in ~/.config, or grid alignment being supported for desktop widgets (getting them to align properly in KDE4 was always a pain).
