I just booted up Kubuntu 15.10 from a live USB and a fair bit of the Dutch translations are clearly copied straight from Google Translate. They're just horribly broken and incorrect. 16:15.59 | ejay | Hi all. My double screen setup is not working as intended. When I plug in second screen every window will move to that second screen. Also every new window I will open will go to second screen. I did set my primary screen to my laptop screen, set so windows should open under mouse pointer, set kwin rules to force windows to open on primary screen but nothing of those helps. It's even more retarded when I unplug my secondary screen - every window will |
16:16.00 | ejay | open on secondary but that secondary is absent so I can't even move it back to my primary screen (I need to reboot). I'm on plasma 5.4 but it never worked as it should. My gfx card is intel hd 4k, open source drivers, everything up to date. Any ideas? I've made shortcut to move active window to primary and this one works what is super confusing because kwin rule with forcing to open on primary do not work. |
16:16.06 | ejay | Oh, and another funny behaviour - applications made in java are shown in middle of both screens so one half is on primary and second one is on secondary. |
