19:17.33mike-zalI read on kwin developer's blog that suse is the best cooperating with lde company, so the plasma in suse is the best. however, I found it lacking comopared to arch...
19:17.36Justicewhy does it list opengl version 3.1 then 4.6
19:17.56mike-zalfor example, I couldn't install some programs because of some rpm issues. no issues on arch

19:19.21Justiceyes but those are logs from kwin

19:22.37Justicetrue but if strace on kwin disables the issue then it feels like kwin is handling it wrong no ?
19:22.51Justiceso instead of killing kwin or restarting it hangs on something.

20:44.26mike-zaland for managing files between servers or sytem and server, I use krusader, which can connect to multiple servers.
20:44.58mike-zaljust use fish protocol and save it as bookmark (ctrl+d)
20:45.15oprypinhow is that related to anything
20:45.20bozhidarhristov@mike-zal I have project on my desktop machine and I would like to edit files directly from my laptop - instead of cloning project again. I guess SFTP is my best option. How can I do it thru SSH only?
20:45.37oprypinsftp is superior to fish and dolphin can do all the same
20:46.05mike-zalbut dolphin is dumb compared to what krusader can do ;)
20:46.05oprypinedit your files in an editor that supports SFTP
20:46.17oprypinmike-zal, it actually isn't
20:46.42oprypinjust doesn't have an in-your-face button for everything so maybe you don't get it
20:47.04mike-zalyeah, it is. dolphin is awesome but lacks so many features that it's hard to manage multiple locations, especially remote ones at the same time.
20:47.21bozhidarhristov@oprypin I guess I can just mount it in /etc/fstab - and that would be easier instead with dolphin
20:47.35oprypinit would be worse
20:47.38bozhidarhristovwith SSHFS
20:47.42mike-zaloprypin: does dolphin has "remeber session"?
20:48.12oprypinbozhidarhristov, the editor would not understand that the resource is remote so the UI would lag due to blocking file operations
20:48.32oprypinoverall sshfs with a GUI application is a terrible experience. i know cuz i use it every day
20:48.33bozhidarhristov@oprypin I guess if networking is good - I wont even notice it.
20:48.51oprypinthat's not true
20:48.59oprypinbozhidarhristov, what prevents you from using an editor that supports SFTP?
20:49.01mike-zalbozhidarhristov: you can use cloud programs like mega, dropbox, etc. to sync files between computers and you don't need solid ip (not sure how it is named in English) like with servers.
20:49.49mike-zalmega gives you 50GB space for free :)

20:50.40oprypinbozhidarhristov, i'm not suggesting that

20:55.50oprypinbozhidarhristov, I don't understand a need for this
