07:55.54xyquadrat-Mwohthan: Hmm, that's unusual
07:56.00Blackbeard-Mwohthan: have you open the directory with dolphin
07:56.44Blackbeard-Mwhere the images are
07:56.56wohthan-MBlackbeard: dolphin is generating all previews correctly
07:58.59Blackbeard-Mwohthan: could you try the open dialog again
07:59.48wohthan-MBlackbeard: indeed, after letting dolphin generate all the preview, now they appear in the dialog box as well
07:59.49wohthan-Mhmm

12:02.53Marquelwstephenson-M: well... firerfox and derivatives do not respect activities when it comes to session restoration, that is, all windows are recreated in the activity the browser is started in. apart from that, new windows/tabs are opened in the current activity.

13:37.21freakynlHi, if I have only 1 monitor (4k) I like to divide my screen in 4 FHD's more or less. With one monitor this is easy, just drag a window to a corner and it will resize to a quarter of the screen (KDE Plasma). But if I use 2 monitors this doesn't work on the end where the other monitor is next to. Any idea if it can still be done this way with multiple monitors?

13:40.19Marquelfreakynl: it might be possible you're using the "screen corner" feature, and with more than one monitor, there's no such corner on the edge where both monitors meet.
13:42.24freakynlMarquel: Yea it's the corner and that obviously moves with multiple monitors. Was hoping there was some kind of work around cuz this allows me to easily divide my screen into quarters

I'm interested in both (a) independent graphical sessions distinct from whatever might run for a physically-present user and (b) actual screen sharing with local graphical sessions. But we'll start with just (a)
19:50.37MoPacIs VNC the best/only solution for this? I've had a really hard time trying to set up any session like that, and I gather that it may even require extensions that are incompatible with SDDM?
19:52.42bzdochahello, is there any way in kde, to move window only with keyboard shortcut? (without using mouse) - i know there is option to 'quick tile' window in kwin, but thats not what i want - i would like to move window 10px left/right/up/down using some defined shortcut...

22:23.47JanKusanagiI doubt that's possible in any way; plasmoids are part of the desktop or panel they're in, they're not windows, they don't have a "front"
22:24.02JanKusanagiyou could run a windowed plasmoid
22:29.51Jucatoyou can only bring the entire "dashboard" to the front, not individual plasmoids
