But I mostly use KDE. when I start KDE on wayland, notifications are showed by mako and not KDE's inbuilt notifications.  Only way I know o use KDE's notification instead of mako is to uninstall mako. is there any other way without uninstalling mako ?

10:08.34Lope2I dunno. your installation sounds broken
10:08.49Lope2Sometimes it's easier to reinstall than figure out what specific thing is broken.
10:09.09Lope2Debugging takes a lot of focused time and attention and requires you to become an expert in all the stuff involved.
10:09.23Lope2Reinstalling, you can do on the side while doing other stuff, depending how complicated your setup is.
10:09.35Lope2Good luck.
10:09.53WarxcellI doubt reinstall will do something

10:10.22Lope2You can do a bonehead default install in a VM to verify.
10:11.07Lope2you could even copy your install to a vm as well, then just merge the data that you actually need. Then run the VM on metal afterwards.
10:11.11Warxcellok will try reinstall, but I doubt it will fix

22:15.46dblsaikohow do I get Plasma to open HTTP URLs with kioclient again so that it opens the respective application based on mime type?
22:16.05dblsaikofor some reason that changed a couple days ago and I can't change it back since the setting in system settings is gone for whatever reason

22:24.51dblsaikohm, interesting, apparently using kioclient directly also just opens urls in the browser when before it didn't
22:25.05dblsaikomaybe there's a configuration file that I can edit directly somewhere
