06:13.08juicemeloin, sure it's possible.
06:15.25juicemeloin, just run Easy Debian on it, and you won't lose phone functionality. (it's chrooted environment on top of Harmattan). OR, if you do not need it as a phone, you can install just about any linux distribution of your liking to it and use it just with WLAN as a desktop server :)

17:34.32loinhey guys, its nice to see jelly bean and ics on the n9
17:34.36loinbut why not gingerbread?
17:34.53loindoes anyone here know if anyone ever made public such a project?
17:38.44thedead1440loin: nope
17:39.08thedead1440e-yes is the only one doing nitdroid so his releases are all that are there
17:39.32loini wonder why he keeps working on the newer ones and not the old ones
17:39.58thedead1440fwiw, you should just get a cheapo android if you need it instead of using nitdroid; the n9 is *not* for nitdroid
17:40.33thedead1440its only a proof of concept...
17:40.37loincheap android?
17:40.43loini own 3 nexus devices lol
17:40.49thedead1440lol
17:40.54loini'm already in the whole android thing
17:41.01loini just want to get some worth out of the n9
17:41.14thedead1440o.O
18:04.19lointhedead1440, got any better ideas on what to do with a n9?
18:57.52Morpog_PCuse it as main device

19:02.40juicemeloin, what would be the benefit of gingerbread Nitdroid version? isn'n newer=better usually...\
19:03.37juicemeloin, Morpog_PC's suggestion is valid. N9 is both my main phone and hacking device.
