07:24.01Com[Plexuh.
07:24.08Com[PlexI wouldnt install the file system to sd..
07:24.26Com[Plexthe reason I wouldnt, is because sd is slow, and not stable.
07:25.40Com[Plexthe latest revisions of the OZ rom do not consume ram and stuff like sharps rom and whatnot. so instead of flashing to rom to the flash area, and having it then copy its entire contents to the ram and run from there, it runs right from the flash area.
07:26.07Com[Plexso if you have a 5500, you can use all 64 megs of "ram" as ram, and your 32 megs of flash ram for storage.
07:26.09Com[Plexdig it?
07:26.29Com[Plexthen you can put your sd card in there, formatted for ext2fs, and install all your applications to it
07:27.31Com[Plexand if you ghave some disaster and have to reflash your rom, you can just use "ipkg-link" to re link all of your apps that were on the sd card and instantly 'reinstall" all of em.
07:27.38Com[Plexsort of anyway.

10:13.29lhamesHi. Oz newbie question: I've just installed OZ 3.5.2 on an SL-5500 in the hopes of getting more up to date bluez support (was running sharp 3.1 rom). Problem is now when I run 'hcitool dev' it shows no devices (even for cards that worked on the old rom with bluez 2.3 on it). What am I missing? (the only relative howto I could find suggested that downgrading back to 2.3 was the way to go)

10:58.07Bernardothis one is too wide, I think. I also need to buy a voltage regulator. I thought about taking apart the simpad dect module and reusing it, but...
