10:13.30sveajobbHi, I have a problem with my tomcat (6.0.13) running on linux. I have a load of 20.0 which isn't normal. It happens sometimes that the load hits the roof. I just performed a kill -QUIT <pid_of_jvm> and got a complete stack trace. I couldn't see anything weird in there. just alot of java.lang.Thread.State: RUNNABLE   at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method)
10:13.43sveajobbany clues as how to 1) fix it 2) determine the reason

10:23.40stshello folks. I'm trying to install tomcat6 with the tomcat6-admin package from debian/squeeze, but after the installation, I don't see /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/manager. When i connect to my manager app i see the following error: 404 - The requested resource () is not available.
10:52.35stsoh. i overlooked something in the logs. found my problem. :)

12:21.10localtI'm using Tomcat 6.0.21 on Ubuntu server 10.04 and JRE 1.6.0... I was wondering if I can have two tomcat servers, server A to host applications X and Y and server B to host application Z, but have all requests go to server A which will be a bridge to server B when someone is asking for application Z?

13:23.00sveajobblocalt, you could always solve it using a apache/mod_jk, I'm not sure if you can do it with only tomcat, but I'm far from an expert
13:24.31localtsveajobb: I'm asking on #httpd as well for the use of mod_jk, but I was wondering if I can just do from tomcat...
13:25.43sveajobblocalt,  I'm pretty sure it should be achievable (guessing wildly). but I don't know how to :)

13:57.29LzrdKingLOL: "The Apache Tomcat Project is proud to announce the release of version 6.0.29 of Apache Tomcat. This release includes bug fixes over Apache Tomcat 6.0.29.
13:57.46LzrdKingso .29 fixes bugs in .29?
14:58.53jMCgLzrdKing: yeah.. I brought this up a week ago.. Maybe I should've said it on the ML or the Jira -- none of the devs are here in IRC, I think.

19:20.32aixenvhey guys i have a project on a debian server that requires 'sqljdbc.jar' ; do i have to download that from Microsoft or does anyone know the apt-get which contains this file? I've googled and found nothing and nothing really stands out as possibly being the answer in apt-cache search $string
19:23.07aixenvi guess i have to go directly to the src maybe it's withheld from apt-get ; http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;313100
19:23.19aixenvunless anyone can specify otherwise
