00:32.49maquisatoponce: i the truth is, printing just sucks
00:33.54maquishalf the reason i prefer to email things around rather than printing them is the difficulty involved in actually getting my printer to communicate with anything

01:07.56undertakingyouYes, I'm on the mailing list.  And I knew about the IRC feed from the website, or ubuntu forums or someplace.  I just thought it would be cool to talk with some other locals about this stuff.

03:22.28etankstuporglue: im on the Kentucky team and I am going to try to get the team to start placing them anywhere that will let us
03:22.33stuporgluecool
03:23.01etankI've printed some on card stock and they hold up pretty well
03:27.07stuporglueYeah. Plain paper wasn't working too well, but my wife's scrapbooking paper worked great
03:27.43etankI had to export it from inkscape to a jpeg to get the watermark look to the ubuntu logos
03:27.54etankit made the text a little fuzzy
03:28.06etankim still playing with it to get it just right
03:29.58etankit i print straight from the svg the text is clear but the watermark is full color instead of faded
03:33.04stuporglueInkscape printing support is still kind of iffy. I think I exported to PDF before printing. If jpg is too fuzzy, and pdf doesn't work for you, png might work well. Inkscape pngs are pretty good.
03:41.11etankill play with it some more and see what i can get.
03:41.35etankthanks again for creating it.
